Hussain is a Machine Learning Engineer at Beam AI, where he develops and deploys large-scale AI systems for automating complex enterprise workflows. His work spans language model evaluation, prompt engineering, and intelligent agent design. At Beam, he has contributed to building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, custom evaluation frameworks for hallucination detection, deterministic code interpreters, and guardrails for safe and reliable LLM outputs. He graduated with a degree in Computer Science, from Habib University in Karachi, Pakistan. His research and industry experience include projects in computer vision, multimodal AI, MLOps, and autonomous agents. Currently, he is working as a Researcher on multimodal distributed LLM-based systems, developing an adaptive conversational agent that integrates real-time neural and physiological signals to enhance emotionally intelligent and context-aware human–AI interaction, under the supervision of Dr. Nastaran Saffaryazdi. Beyond his current roles, he has contributed to open-source projects in the LangChain ecosystem and published multiple papers in international conferences on topics such as camouflaged object detection, video summarization, and health monitoring systems. His broader interests lie in building trustworthy AI systems that bridge cognitive science, machine learning, and real-world applications.
