Andrea Corral is a third-year Psychology student at the University of Burgos (Spain), currently conducting an independent research project titled Employment Conditions and Subjective Well-being in Europe: A Gender- and Age-Sensitive Analysis. This work is part of the ASTI Project in STEM, where she bridges Python programming and the social sciences to explore how employment conditions affect well-being across different demographic groups.

In parallel, Andrea is a research assistant at the Empathic Computing Lab, where she works on Project 7: Annotating Emotions in Speech. Her role involves reviewing, analyzing, and labeling emotional data from recorded speech to refine emotion recognition systems. Through this work, she combines her interest in affective science and data analysis, contributing to a deeper understanding of how empathy and emotion can be computationally modeled.
