A Software Engineer from the Maldives, with a Master’s in Software Engineering from the University of Auckland. His research interests span precision medicine, accessible and well-designed digital health applications for therapy, and explainable AI — driven by a broader curiosity about how software can be built to be both clinically meaningful and genuinely usable.

His Master’s thesis centred on developing an Explainable AI Framework for Depression, demonstrating that white-box models can balance predictive performance while remaining inherently explainable.

He worked as a software engineer across several institutions in the Maldives, including the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, the National Centre for Information Technology, and most recently as a contract engineer at the State Electric Company.

Outside of research and development, he enjoys long walks, reading, and watching travel vlogs of destinations he has absolutely no plans to visit.
