Francesco De Pace received the M. Sc. degree in Cinema and Media Engineering from Politecnico di Torino university, Italy, in 2016. He is a Ph.D. student at the Dipartimento di Automatica e Informatica of the Politecnico di Torino, under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Sanna. He is currently working as Visiting Postgraduate Research student at the Emphatic Computing Laboratory within the Auckland Bioengineering Institute under the supervision of Prof. Mark Billinghurst.

His research interests include human-computer/human-robot interaction, augmented reality and virtual reality. He is particularly interested in applying virtual and augmented technologies with industrial robots to improve the human-robot collaboration area.
